Why we built this
Booking a venue shouldn't feel like a part-time job.
Every one of us has planned an event the old way: a spreadsheet of phone numbers, a dozen unanswered emails, three different quotes for the same photographer that somehow don't add up to the same thing, and a venue that only takes a deposit by check. It's not that vendors are hard to find — it's that there's no honest way to compare them.
So we built the marketplace we wished existed: every listing verified before it goes live, every price shown up front, and every payment protected until the event actually happens. The same trust model that made booking a place to stay simple, applied to booking the people who make an event happen.
